Residents had the opportunity to learn how to use a potters wheel this afternoon.  Vinicius from Colour and Clay spent the afternoon with residents teaching them how to use a potters wheel.  The workshop began with a piece of clay to form a shape using their hands.  Once this was formed, a demonstration on the wheel began.   It looks tricky, steady hands required, and maybe a little patience.  As you can see from the video below one of our residents thoroughly enjoyed herself.  

Next steps will be to decorate the pots once they have dried out.  Look forward to seeing the finished pieces of art.
