November Activities

November Activities

November was a creative month filled with arts and crafts of all kinds. Residents enjoyed making jewellery, macramé mobiles, salt art, and beautiful poppies for Remembrance Day. These hands-on sessions were not only fun but also fantastic for supporting cognitive skills, encouraging social interaction, and boosting overall wellbeing.

We also celebrated Hug-a-Bear Day with visits from Rupert and the ever-mischievous Sooty, bringing plenty of smiles and laughter. Another highlight was our in-house fashion show, where staff strutted their stuff and cheered each other on—an afternoon that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The kitchen was bustling too, with lots of cooking and baking throughout the month. Homemade bread, snowballs, and gingerbread men filled the air with delicious aromas… oohhhh!

Musical moments added to the joy of November, featuring live performances from a violinist and a pianist. There was plenty of opportunity for dancing, singing, and soaking up the atmosphere. We were also treated to Tickled Pink Productions’ Christmas Extravaganza, a lively and colourful show that was the perfect way to start getting into the festive spirit.

One of our residents celebrated her 100th birthday with residents, friends and family.

To round off the month, residents helped put up a couple of Christmas trees—an early start to decorating as we prepare for the magical season ahead. December promises to be a busy and exciting month as Christmas approaches, and we look forward to sharing every moment with our community.
